Fathom Yachts is a U.S. based company headquartered in Bow Washington. The company principles have been involved with numerous marine organizations that include Nordic Tug. They felt that there was a genuine opportunity to utilize modern construction techniques to build a more efficient & spacious yacht of a given size at a competitive price in the U.S. Not finding like minds within their organization they set out on their own to accomplish their goal.
Fathom Yachts represent the culmination of their experience & vision to create a modern "trawler" design using modern manufacturing materials & processes. Utilizing advanced 3D CAD programs they are able to "pre-build" each model, exploring a multitude of floor plans until they find just the right layout that achieves maximum living space while ensuring a safe secure interior while underway.
Fathom Yachts plans on maintaining their U.S. based production facilities. Sourcing products locally makes economic sense for a manufacturer. Having the company principles on site goes a long way to ensuring maximum quality control. In addition, all the founder’s are active boaters themselves. Being actively involved in the use of their own product ultimately benefits the consumer in the form of ergonomic floor plans, accessibility of system components & common sense details & features that are applicable to the boating family.
