We will strive to offer classes that offer a varied and comprehensive education in yacht ownership and handling. At DCYU, we will present seminars in lecture format with the aid of Power Point presentations, handouts and other reading material. Our classroom will seat 24, and is easy to locate in the West end of the harbor with convenient parking right by our building. Our current seminar schedule is as follows:

	Jan. 12th Emergencies at Sea Taught by Steve Williams, Paramedic & RN. Steve has sailed for over 30 years and is currently the Director of the Paramedic Program at Mt. San Antonio College.
	Jan. 26th Battery Systems & Inverters Taught by Kevin Ryan, Owner of Outbound Yacht Services in Dana Point.
	Feb. 9th Provisioning/Cooking Onboard Taught by Cynthia Mayberry
	Feb. 23rd Local Cruising Taught by Diane de Witte
	March 8th Basic Seamanship Taught by Cynthia Mayberry
	March 22nd TBA
	April 12th Insuring your Boat Taught by Janine Conners, owner Ship to Shore Insurance.
	April 26th Anchoring 101 Taught by Zak Anderegg

We are currently completing our schedule for the rest of the year. Please continue to check the website for future classes.

All classes are $20.00 per person, and are held Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
