Roger will interrupt a board meeting to take your call!
As a descendant of the famous 16th century Irish pirate queen Grace O’Malley (aka Gráinne Ni Mháille) and the son of a career U.S. Naval officer, it was genetically pre-determined that Roger would have a love of the sea.
Roger started his sailing career landlocked, however, in the early 80’s and on very small, fast sailboats (also called windsurfers) on the alpine lakes around Mammoth Lakes in the High Sierra. After relocating to Orange County in 1998, he began a progression from dinghy sailing to keelboats, and now races and cruises sailboats regularly from Dana Point harbor.
Roger decided to combine his nautical knowledge with his previous business experience as president of a successful sales and service firm in the financial sector and entered the yacht sales business. Roger doesn’t see himself as just a boat salesman, however, but as a boating lifestyle facilitator – working to match clients with the craft that best meets their particular boating desires. It’s not just the vessel it’s the voyage.
