Diane DeWitte

At the age of 7 Diane was helping her big brother build their first Sailboat in their garage. She began her boating and sailing actives on the Finger Lakes of Upstate New York. At the age of 23 she made her first offshore cruise from Fiji to Sydney, Australia and decided to make sailing (her passion) her work. Since then she has cruised the South Pacific, Asia from Indonesia through the South China Seas, and up the Malacca Straits to Thailand.

After spending a year working for Annapolis Sailing School in Maryland, she found her way back to the west coast and is now teaching and delivering boats up and down the coast from Baja, Mexico to Seattle, WA. She is an Advanced American Sailing Instructor, a US Sailing Certified Bareboat Instructor, and PADI Dive Master.

She found her way to Dream Catcher Yachts after numerous requests from her students to help them find the right boat!

Kenzie Lobacz spent most of his life in NH where he has owned, sailed and sold boats for 25 + years.  His passion brought him to acquire his Coast Guard 50 ton Captain’s license, and has enabled him to cover many miles delivering boats to and from exotic locations.  Selling power boats on the largest lake in NH turned into yacht sales in Miami on the Atlantic.  Both led him to Dream Catcher Yachts where he can finally sell sailboats on the Pacific Ocean.  When he is not sailing he is pursuing another of his many outdoor endeavors.  He lives in Laguna Niguel with his wife, Robin and has two grown children.

Chip Martin

Chip gained his initial interest in boating while growing up on Manhasset Bay on Long Island Sound in New York. His boating experience increased over the years while enjoying such places as Lake George and Lake Champlain, N.Y., the Chesapeake Bay, and ultimately San Francisco Bay, San Diego, and Orange County.

Upon graduating from college in New York, Chip’s career kept him moving west until he ended up in California. It is here that he found the Pacific and decided it was going to be tough to go back east! In 1991 Chip moved to San Francisco and found himself sailboat racing on a regular basis while belonging to a local yacht club.

After several years of sales management positions within the building products industry, Chip decided to stop living on airplanes and try and spend more time enjoying his true loves-California and boating. During his move to Laguna Beach he came in contact with Dream Catcher Yachts and looks forward to helping people find their dream of the perfect boat.

I was born in Washington D.C. and raised in the Chesapeake Bay area.  My first memory of boats was a place called The Old Warf in South West Washington D.C. My dad would take the family there on Sunday's for fresh seafood, and to watch the shrimp and oyster boats come up the Potomac River by way of Chesapeake Bay.  I knew then that boats were going to be a big part of my life.  Most of my summers were spent on the Chesapeake Bay at our family's beach cottage; spending many days fishing and crabbing for Big Blue Claw Crabs.

My first boat was 37' and was built in 1937 on the Eastern shore of Maryland.  That would be my home for the next several years, where my daughter and I fished every inch of the Bay.

In 1980 the Edison Company offered me a position in Southern California, which I accepted.  Purchasing a new fishing boat, Dana Point with its Harbor, seemed like the perfect fit.  In 1982 I met my wife, Brenda.  Together, we have fished and cruised from Catalina Island to Ensenada, Mexico.

I enjoy spending time with my wife, and my stepson Jamie who is currently on the coaching staff for the USA Men's Volleyball Team.  My favorite place to fish and relax is Xihuatanejo Bay, Mexico.

In 1996 with 36 years of electrical experience, I retired from Southern California Edison and started my own business, “Yacht Ready Consultants.”  Working with Dream Catcher Yachts and specializing in sport fishing yachts just tops the cake.

Commodore Casey
Office Feline

I am a veteran office feline with over 2 years experience overseeing daily operations within the sales office. I officially manage the well being & state of repair of the conference room chairs. This task consumes about 2/3 of my day in the office. Beyond that I have my direct reports, also known as the office staff, who I ensure are attending to the very important details that I simply don't have time or interest in; something about boats & contracts and such... I do on occasion allow time for greeting those who are worthy of my time & attention. Should you be lucky enough to be one of the chosen few please simply acknowledge my presence with a soft scratch on the back or under the chin. I will let you know when I am finished.

Stanley
Office Feline

I am Casey's  young adopted brother. I basically have no responsibilities within the office due to my inherent complaining whenever I am forced to show up. I certainly prefer the home life & its associated pleasantries, i.e. the bed, the couch, a familiar restroom... After my morning complaining sessions I usually join Casey in the conference room attending to the ongoing surveillance of the conference room chairs. Casey & I frequently discuss the significance of our lives while we have the private time to ourselves. This whole selling boats thing strikes me as too much work.
