MEET THE OWNERS
Dream Catcher Yachts is owned and operated by Zachary and Michelle Anderegg . Michelle grew up on the water. Just weeks after birth, she was in the Bahamas living onboard a 30' O’day and later a 41' Morgan out-Island ketch. Michelle thought nothing of diving for conch, swimming in turquoise water with 60'+ visibility & riding out 50 knot squalls at anchor. Growing up on the ocean greatly influenced Michelle and serves her well as the broker/owner of Dream Catcher Yachts.

Zachary grew up admiring the water and was first able to indulge his desire to be at sea aboard an 800' troop carrier in the Marines. Two voyages to the Middle East helped him develop a great appreciation for the beauty and power of the sea.

Together Michelle and Zak crewed aboard classic yachts in Newport, RI, delivered a 56' Swan to the USVI, and crewed aboard charter boats in the Caribbean. In 2000 they found themselves in Dana Point, CA where Michelle first joined Dream Catcher Yachts as a sales broker. Zak began doing the technical outfitting of yachts in the Dana Point harbor.

In September 2002 Zak & Michelle partnered with a former customer & purchased Dream Catcher Yachts. Shortly thereafter they purchased another Dana Point brokerage to accommodate their growing dealership business. To this day, Zak & Michelle are very hands on in the business & truly enjoy building lasting friendships with the customers they have come to know & do business with.
